National, Major or Minor ? Which is Pittsburgh ready for?

Monday, January 4, 2010

Happy New Year!

Is Pittsburgh ready for "the fastest game on two feet"?

You tell me!

The game has been here for years, the interest is growing at a rapid pace, and we may have the opportunity to have a team at the proffessional level.
However, we need to hear from you, the fan base.

If there is not enough of a fan base then the pusuit of a ProLAX team is all for not. So please let me hear from you and tell me how much you love the game.

HELL YEA! more lax west of Philly the better. Eastern Ohio lax fans in Columbus & Cleveland would be all about the team.

Hey...Looks like we are on our way.

I am a new blogger so please spread the word that comments are now wide open and well received.

Thanks to Tommy at IL for the great article. I am serious about pursuing a Pro Lax Team here.

However, I don't like to waste time nor money. I need to legitimize my efforts by your support and love of the game. Please spread the word and have fellow fans vote in the poll. I am going to start a Facebook page as well to get viral.

Thanks again Tommy! And thanks in advance to the fans.

Let's Get Lax!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not in Pittsburgh or the surrounding area at all, but I think the city is an ideal market for lax - especially MLL. The city is rabid about its teams as demonstrated by the following the Pirates still manage. Pitt has salvaged the Penguins many times including the recent attempts to move the team to Kansas City.
With the all out explosion of youth and HS lax in the area, the market is ripe for a pro team. Put on black and gold unis and the fans will show up in droves. Drive home the fact the Philly lost its team and the Steel City diehards will love the team like no other.
Just my two cents.
